Born on 31 August 1991, on the island of Jeju, she began playing the piano aged three and at thirteen moved to Paris to study. She was the youngest graduate of the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, and in 2009 she completed a DEM course at the Conservatoire National régional de Paris. She is also a graduate of the Hochschule für Musik in Detmold (Germany) and is currently studying for an MMus. at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hanover. She has won prizes in competitions in Aachen, Paris (the Bellan and Steinway competitions), Montrond-les-Bains and Osaka. She has performed with philharmonic orchestras in Giurgiu (Romania), South Korea, Opava (Czech Republic), Herford and Jeju, and also solo or in duet in Kalletal (Germany), Paris and Warsaw.
