Born on 19 June 1991, his first teachers were his father and grandfather, both musicians. At the age of thirteen, he was admitted to the Ottorino Respighi Conservatory in Latina (Italy), where he studied until 2011. On meeting Giorgia Alessandra Brustia, he decided to transfer to the Claudio Monteverdi Conservatory in Bolzano, which he graduated from with honours under her tuition. He is currently attending a post-graduate course at the same conservatory. He is a prize-winner of the Maria Herrero International Competition in Granada, the ‘Città di Filadelfia’ European Competition, and also national competitions in Albenga, Oleggio and the Giulio Rospigliosi in Lamporecchio. He has also qualified for this year’s edition of the Ferruccio Busoni Piano Competition in Bolzano. He has given recitals in his native country (in Naples, Rome, Soriano, Bolzano, Vibo Valentia, Nursia, Novara and Tropea) and twice in Halle (Euro Music Festival). He has attended annual piano courses run by Giorgia Alessandra Brustia and Gabriele Baldocci. He recently recorded a Chopin recital for Radio Classica’s Il Pianista programme.
