Born on 4 June 1994, from 2007 to 2010 she studied in the class of Choong-Mo Kang at the Institute for Artistically Talented Pupils and then with Chong-Pil Lim at the Korea National University of Arts. Since 2013, she has continued her training with Pavel Gililov at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. She has won the ‘Compositores de España’ Piano Competition in Madrid (2014), the Johann Nepomuk Hummel Competition in Bratislava (2014) and the International Chopin Piano Competition in Asia (twice: 2005, 2008). She is also a prize-winner of the Pyotr Tchaikovsky Competition for young pianists in Novosibirsk (2009) and the International e-Piano Junior Competition in Minnesota (2011), as well as the Hamamatsu Music Academy Competition (2013). She also reached the semi-final of the Alessandro Casagrande Competition in Terni, Italy (2014). She has performed on many concert platforms in Korea, as well as in Japan, Germany, Austria, Hungary and Italy and recently in Slovakia and Spain. She has appeared on Radio Classic, which belongs to the KBS Korean television network.
